Charlie Blomley and Oliver Smith founded Insitu Group in March 2015. Joined by Brooke Smith and Paul Smith, taking the years of combined construction experience to over a half a century. This experience has enabled them to build their relationships and reputation in the market by always delivering on a ‘concept to completion’ approach. Specialising in Retail, Commercial and Hospitality construction, the Company has grown from 3 employees in 2015, to the current team of 60 highly skilled staff. IG are proud members of the MBAV, GBCA, WIDAC, NAWIC and the Property Council of Australia, Insitu Group aim to provide their clients with optimal service and outstanding results, ensuring a quality result is achieved, on-time and on-budget.
Oliver has 15 years’ history in construction, developing a wealth of practical and professional experience across all facets of the industry. This includes design development, programme planning, construction management and project management on a number of complex projects. Although he brings experience from many complex new and refurbished projects in all sectors, Oliver has specialist knowledge in retail and hospitality projects. As Business Development Manager, he brings invaluable experience in value management and construction methodology across a diverse range of projects.
Charlie has worked in the construction industry for nearly 20 years. He began his career as an Apprentice, before moving up through the ranks to Senior Site Manager. As Construction Manager, Charlie brings extensive technical and commercial experience in delivering complicated commercial, residential, retail, hospitality and educational developments. His practical knowledge of all facets of construction is an invaluable resource and additional construction support to the Project Managers and site teams.
Brooke has 15 years’ experience – both Builder and Client side – in the retail, commercial and residential construction industry, building a reputation on delivering high value projects. In her role as General Manager, Brooke is responsible for the financial management of our Projects and Tenders, supporting the Project Managers to ensure each project is administered in accordance with IG’s standards and systems. She also manages the implementation of new innovations, together with Insitu Group’s industry position via the Marketing and BD functions.
With over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry; as an apprentice on commercial building sites to senior project management roles within the same company for over 20 years. Paul has gained a vast array of experience across all facets of the industry, across the country. His role as Development Manager includes overseeing all aspects of the projects from finding properties to architectural design, sales, and the design and construct from start to completion.
